Is $12,000 to replace a vinyl liner in an in-ground pool a fair price?
Project Details
I need to replace the vinyl liner in my in-ground pool. The estimates are close to $12,000, which is a bit out of my budget. I've already drained the pool, and now the liner is pulling off and exposing the concrete. I'm worried that structural damage is going to occur if I leave it like this. I'm unsure how long I can leave it empty. I've received 4 estimates in Albuquerque, and all were in the same price range, which I find excessive. There aren't many pool companies here that do vinyl liners. The current liner is at least 6 years old, but likely more.
