Is $1,000 to repair two leaking sumps in the spa a fair price?
Project Details
The leak is actually in the spa, not the main pool. I'm looking to get other quotes to compare against the $1000 quote from the leak detection company, and I'm wondering if $1000 is a reasonable price for this repair. This is the second leak I've found since moving in, and it appears the area has been epoxied before. At this point, I just want the leaking to stop, and I'm okay with mismatched plaster if necessary. The spa side is losing about 4-6 inches of water per day, which has worsened recently. The main pool seems steady after isolating the spa.
