Is $3,000 to dig and install a new skimmer line a fair price?
Project Details
My local pool company confirmed that the old skimmer line is rotted away because I used pucks in the skimmer line. I'm wondering if it's worth the $3,000 to fix it, or if I can just use the main line at the bottom of the pool. Skimming is a pain, but doesn't take up too much time, and I'm wondering if there are other downsides to not fixing it that I'm not considering.
