Is $23,500 to replaster a pool a fair price?
Project Details
The quote for replastering is not within my budget. I have four kids who want a functioning pool this summer. The pool was functioning last summer but got nasty in the Fall, so I drained it. The plaster is failing, gunite is exposed, and it has needed replastering for a few years. It held water and the plumbing worked last summer. My Plan B is to just fill it back up. I am concerned about health and safety risks and potential damage to the system if I use the pool in its current state. I am also exploring alternative solutions like roll-on plaster, patching, or acid washing.
