Is $30,000 to install a 15x30 oval semi-inground pool with heater a fair price?
Project Details
I had to coordinate the hardscaping myself, including the patio and wall, separately because the pool company only does hardscaping for inground pools. The pool installation took about two weeks with excavation, but I felt they were balancing multiple jobs due to a rainy spring and being backed up. All in all, I love it, though I kind of wish we had pushed for an 18x33 pool. However, we were limited on width due to an easement on the fence side. As a family of three, I think this 15x30 size is suitable for 95% of our needs, and it rarely gets cramped even with guests. We are also adding an additional vinyl picket fence around the pool for added safety, which should be in by the end of the month.
