Is $4,000 to remove deck cover and repair roof a fair price?

I have a roof leak where the added deck cover was attached to the roof in two places. It’s rotted through the decking. I would prefer to keep the cover if possible. I was thinking of connecting adjustable shoring posts to the framing of the cover and jacking them up, and I'm looking for thoughts or advice on this.
