Is $350 to repair missing gutter corner a fair price?
Project Details
I have a missing gutter corner on a 3-storey house. Some roofers say the model is discontinued and the part cannot be found. I was initially quoted between £70-350 for the repair. One roofer also pointed out a gap between the gutter and roof and suggested changing all the gutters might be best. I'm asking if this gap is a problem and if a full replacement is necessary. The missing corner causes a leak onto my porch cover, which is noisy. One roofer agreed to do the repair for £350 but ghosted me. Another roofer offered to order the part and repair for £350, or change the whole gutter to a modern one for £600. I'm not sure if the full replacement is necessary or a tactic. I'm also asking if it's possible to find a discontinued gutter corner part.
