Is $2,500 to repair a roof leak, replace rotted wood, and upgrade gutters a fair price?
Project Details
I am experiencing a roof leak at a corner section, and there is rotted wood under the downspout. The roof was replaced two years ago by this company, but the warranty does not transfer from the previous owner. We recently had very heavy rains that caused the lower roof gutters to overflow. I'm unsure if the quoted cost of $2,500 is reasonable or if the proposed work makes sense, especially since the flashing was supposedly installed correctly two years ago. I'm also wondering if the heavy rain could have simply overloaded the flashing.
