Is $13,300 to replace roof using a nail gun a fair price?

We are taking out a loan for this and I'd prefer not to pay more but if it's worth it, I will. I'm trying to determine if the extra cost for hand nailing is worth it. If I trust the roofer with a nail gun, it might not be worth it. If I don't trust him, it is. I'm trying to decide which option to choose.
