Is $3,200 to reinstall gutter guards and fascia mount existing gutters a fair price?

I was told by the Gutter Helmet company that the gutters would not need to be removed for the new metal roof installation, only the gutter guards. However, the roofers removed the gutters despite their own prior written statement that removal wasn't necessary. Now, the Gutter Helmet company is requesting an upcharge beyond the $3200 already supplemented by insurance, because they have to reinstall the gutters in addition to dropping and fascia mounting them. I'm considering reinstalling the garage gutters myself. I've confirmed with my insurance agent that I won't be committing fraud if I decide not to proceed with the Gutter Helmet company. I'm paying for the metal roof upgrade myself, with checks coming through me.
