Is $900 to replace a dormer vent a fair price?
Project Details
I'm out of town at work, and my wife is trying to find someone to replace a dormer vent that has been leaking. Nobody really wants to take on such a small job. The one quote we received was for $900, which seems excessive to me for what I estimate to be a two-hour job with about $100 in parts. I'm wondering if they are trying to take advantage of my wife or if this is a fair price.
