Is $200 to clean and patch rusted and cracked chimney chase a fair price?
Project Details
I initially hired a contractor to replace a crushed chimney cap, which was damaged by fumigation tents. During inspection, he found rust and cracks on the chimney chase. I'm unsure about the proposed repair method and if it will last a few years, allowing me to save for a full replacement.
