Is $8,000 to remove shingles and replace with a metal roof a fair price?

I am in rural Alberta and haven't been able to get other quotes. This is for a cabin with a wood burning stove and no insulation in the roof. We had really bad ice dams last year. To save cost, I will pick up the metal from the distributor myself and bring it to my place. I also have a hydraulic dump trailer and can dispose of the shingles for free at our landfill. I've been working with them to get the price down to this, taking care of the disposal, material pick up, and delivery costs. I posted in the nearest community Facebook group looking for a roofer, and these guys were suggested by multiple people.
