Is $3,500 to install Leaf Filter gutter guards and clean gutters a fair price?

My wife and I co-bought this house with her parents a few years ago. The previous owners had a mesh guard system, but we're still experiencing clogging and leaking issues. One of our newly installed gutters on the second floor doesn't have any guards and has small trees growing out of it, so we definitely need cleaning and new guards there. I'm a new homeowner and don't have a basis for how much this stuff costs. My in-laws seemed to think the price was good, and we'd split costs with them. I'm second-guessing other types of guards after the sales rep's presentation.
