I was quoted $3100 to repair a 5x5 foot EPDM roof area. This roof is located under an 800 sqft deck that I removed myself and plan to relay. The quality of the repair looks great, but I can't help but feel I was charged double because other roofers refused to bid on such a small patch job, citing lack of profit. I'm used to shingle prices, which seem more affordable. The roof is at ground level, covering a subterranean 2-car garage, so it's crucial for keeping water out. We knew there was a 2-foot rotted piece of plywood decking beforehand. The job took about 2.5-3 hours with 3 guys, though only one seemed actively working at a time, possibly due to roofing being slow during winter.
