Is $40,000 to install a 60 mil TPO roof a fair price?

I live in Florida and intend to keep this home for a long time. My previous BUR roof lasted 25 years but was ultimately damaged by tropical storm launched tree branch missiles, which is why I'm concerned about longevity and resistance. I'm looking for validation on whether the 80 mil TPO will provide an extra 5-10 years of life compared to the 60 mil, as I believe an additional $2,500 for that longevity would be a good value given how much costs have increased. I don't have much experience with TPO, as I left roofing about 15 years ago.
