Is $1,900 to add SmartVent for intake ventilation a fair price?
Project Details
I am getting a new roof installed this week. The roofing plan includes a ridge vent for exhaust ventilation, but I need additional intake ventilation. My house does not have the anatomy for soffit venting. Money is a bit of a concern for this project, and I was considering turtle vents as a cheaper alternative for intake, but ultimately decided to proceed with the SmartVent option.
Quote Details
Installation of SmartVent for intake ventilation. This solution is proposed as the house lacks the necessary anatomy for traditional soffit venting. This is an addition to the main roofing project which includes a ridge vent for exhaust ventilation.
