Is $2,000 to repair chimney flashing a fair price?

Project Details

I’m just now repairing other things that the previous owner/contractor did incorrectly. I'm wondering if this is something I could possibly do myself or if going with a contractor would be my best bet. I’m actually pretty decent at repairing things. I’ve included pictures from our inspection before buying the house. The seller said everything was repaired and we’re just now finding out it was a lie.
