I received this quote for a roof replacement in West LA. I believe my roof is 2-story with a 4/12 pitch and is walkable. I was looking for a quote with a 50-year warranty and was initially interested in Owens shingles, but the contractor prefers GAF, claiming they offer a longer 50-year warranty. The contractor also mentioned that I am outside his service area and charges more due to travel time. This contractor has a good reputation in LA, with many reviews and having worked on my neighbor's house.
