Is $2,999 to repair a ceramic Spanish tile roof a fair price?

I just had some roof repair work done on my newly purchased home, which has a ceramic Spanish tile roof. Apparently, some tiles and underlayment needed fixing. I paid a bit under $3,000 for the work. The contractor sent some photos of the roof after the repair, but I have no idea what I'm looking at and can't tell if the repair was done properly. I'm no expert, which is why I'm asking for help. We've already asked them to go back out and take additional photos of their work, especially around the chimney area, where we were told during inspections that most work needed to be done. The initial lack of photos near the chimney made us question the work. I was surprised by the low quote, given the age (1936) and condition of the home itself. I was expecting much worse, but I figured I shouldn't negotiate up and was pleasantly surprised that the contractor apparently thought the roof was in pretty good shape.
