Is $30,000 to install a torch on membrane roof a fair price?

I have been getting several quotes for a new roof. My roof has simple geometry, with two flat planes and a chimney in the middle. I'm trying to understand if there's an advantage to a torch on membrane that I'm missing, as the metal option seems like the clear choice. I also need to know about required maintenance for metal roofs, specifically if they need repainting to last 50 years. An ice/water shield layer is already part of the quote. I'm also curious if anyone has experience with "Roofnado Storm tread XW" and if it's similar or different from ice and water shield. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so we get a lot of rain but not much ice or snow. I'm in a fairly high cost of living area. The metal roof quote seems to be the best deal right now, but I need more information on the product, specifically if it's mechanically seamed or standing seam clips, as I only know it's a concealed fastener system with 24 gauge metal and synthetic underlay.
