Is $11,500 to replace roof with Owens Corning Oakridge shingles a fair price?
Project Details
I need to get my roof replaced. This quote for $11.5k was the lowest I've received, and the contractor seems pretty good. I'm concerned about the proposed Owens Corning Oakridge shingles and am considering Duration instead. I live in Phoenix, AZ, where heat is a major issue, so I'm set on getting cool shingles with ridge venting. I'm also confused about the difference between "cool" and "cool 20+ SRI" shingles and whether one is better for cooling.
