Is $1,500 to repair a metal roof ridge cap a fair price?

I have a very short section of metal roof. The ridge cap came off and bent, possibly due to strong wind. I'm admittingly unsure about the terminology and have had trouble getting roofers to come look at it, as I suspect they might consider it too small of a job.
