Is $3,500 to replace fascia and gutters on a front addition a fair price?

Project Details

I have a front addition in my house with about 45 linear feet of fascia. The old wood fascia has rotted in parts due to previous poor maintenance, and warping is becoming more aggressive. The quote of $3500 seemed unusually high to me, though I do live in a very high cost of living city. I now realize I may have misjudged the involvement of the work given the small area.
