I recently had a new roof installed. My signed quote included a $2,000 line item for replacing siding and adding flashing on my dormers, as I was initially told I didn't have flashing and needed it. However, after the roof job was completed, I was informed that flashing was actually present, and therefore, the work for the $2,000 line item was not performed. I am now seeking a refund for this $2,000, but the company is refusing, claiming the overall price was fair. I believe I should not have to pay for work that was not done and am considering legal action.
