Is $51,000 to install a 26 gauge standing seam roof a fair price?
Project Details
I have a quote for a standing seam roof and am considering upgrading from 26 gauge to 24 gauge, wondering if it's worth the additional $4700. My house has a 2.5/12 low slope roof and is located in the PNW, experiencing lots of rain and occasional light snow. I'm also curious if a black or dark color for the metal roof would be problematic, given that it doesn't get super hot here.
