Is $200 to repair brick fascia a fair price?
Project Details
Weather and other factors did not cooperate when trying to replace my driveway, so I didn't have one for about a month. While it was gone, part of my brick fascia fell off due to gravity. My contractor and I agree it wouldn't have happened if the driveway was there. He told me he'd fix it, never mentioning a cost, until today. I feel like my contractor is taking me for a ride, especially after the month-long driveway work, and I intend to never work with him again. I'm seeking other opinions on the reasonableness of this price, and I'm also considering doing the repair myself. The fascia broke off as a result of the contractor's work, and he repeatedly said he would fix it without mentioning a cost.
