Is $8,240 to remove, repair, and reinstall solar system due to incorrect installation a fair price?
Project Details
We had a roof leak develop because the original solar panel installation was done incorrectly; conduit was attached directly to the roof instead of being put on blocks with rubber sheathing. We found out Shine Solar, the original installer, closed. I'm older and not fit enough to be doing this work myself. I'm considering talking to our insurance company, as there's roof work, panel reinstall, and interior ceiling repair that needs to happen.
