Is $29,000 to add an 8.8kw Enphase solar system a fair price?

I currently have a 7.8kw solar system on my roof. Even with the system, I am using approximately 1000 kWh per month in excess of my usage. My roof is 18 years old. My state in the northeast US has 1 to 1 net metering, and I received incentives on the first install, so there are no other incentives available for this addition. We also have really high electric rates at $0.29 per kWh. I still need to get a roof quote. I compared the solar addition quote to Tesla online, and itas cheaper than them. Its just a lot of money, so I'm looking for a gut check, but it does seem like a good deal.
