Is $250 to troubleshoot solar microinverter issue a fair price?
Project Details
I received a notification from my Enphase app that a microinverter was not reporting/responding. The app suggests it might be due to weather, but I don't think that's the case. I read through their troubleshooting steps, but none seemed to apply. I reached out to the installer, who wants $250 to troubleshoot. I'm trying to avoid paying that if possible and am looking for advice. It looks like one panel is down, and it went down this month. I don’t know if it’s not producing or just not reporting. If it’s not reporting, I could live with that, but if it’s broken and not producing, I guess I do need someone to fix it. I'm trying to understand the situation better.
