I'm in the Austin, TX area. I was initially looking at big companies, but their prices ($2.5-$3.5/kW) were too high. I ended up looking at local installers on EnergySage based on recommendations, and this quote came in below $2/kW, though I'm concerned they might be charging extra for the battery. They have decent Google reviews, and I'm wondering if this quote looks good or if I should keep looking. The battery is primarily for evening power storage and momentary usage spikes; I don't expect it to run the entire house. I would like to get two batteries but cannot justify the cost.
