Is $750 to assume access to solar monitoring app for existing solar installation a fair price?
Project Details
I am buying a home with a functioning, 3-year-old, paid-off solar system already in place. I am a solar noob and don't know the lingo. I question the legitimacy and cost of the "solar kit" for new app access, as $750 seems like a lot for a new app on my phone, and I don't understand why additional hardware would be needed when the system is already functioning great. All that's needed is for me to assume "ownership" of the monitoring mobile app from the previous owner.
