Is $150 to install a consumption monitor a fair price?

It's been a year since my solar install, and I'm still peeved that I had to call them after and schedule an additional install to come back and add a consumption monitor. When I spent $40-60k on the solar system, this monitor, which cost me around $150-250 with labor, should have been included. It's stingy not to include it, as it makes it so much easier to understand my monthly energy bills when I know how much I consumed vs. produced and to understand import/export numbers. The frustrating part is they didn't mention it existed (or that I wouldn't be able to see consumption in the app) nor offered it as an upsell. I didn't find out until after they were done.
