Is $15,000 to get a 4.0kW solar PPA system with a 2.5% escalator a fair price?
Project Details
My father was previously swindled into a PPA by Bryton Power, which led to a dispute with Palmetto, the leasing company. Palmetto has since stopped working with Bryton Power. This new offer is a resolution to that dispute. I am still evaluating if the system would even be worth it, especially since the normal rate per kWh is about $0.37 right now. The house is in a high fire risk area, and I plan on keeping it in the family, so I'm open to keeping the system if it proves beneficial.
