Is $225 to reinstall solar current transformers (cts) a fair price?

Project Details

PG&E cut the current transformer (CT) wires for my solar/battery system during a meter replacement because they were installed in the utility side of the panel. The original installer claims they must be installed that way for accuracy, but PG&E and a meter specialist suggest they can be moved to the customer side. The battery system is currently unusable without these sensors.

Quote Details

Reinstall current transformers for solar battery monitoring after utility cut existing wires. Work includes: - Replacing the cut CTs with new units to ensure accuracy - Relocating CTs to the customer side of the panel to comply with utility guidelines - Configuring the system by either combining two outputs on single CTs or adding additional CT sets
