Is $46,000 to replace all windows and install a new sliding glass patio door with a matching screen door a fair price?

My parents signed a contract with Lowe's in February 2023 to replace all the windows in their home, install a new sliding glass patio door, and a matching sliding screen door. Most of the work was completed, but the screen door has not been installed. For 28 months, we've been trying to get this last piece installed, but multiple contractors have come out and left without completing it. The original estimate for completion was 12 weeks, but it has now been over two years. Lowe's offered $300 as compensation, which we countered to $500, but they sent a legal document asking us to waive all future liability claims and sign an NDA instead of the promised eGift card. This is insulting, as it barely covers the cost of hiring someone else to install the screen door, let alone the wasted time and energy. We just want Lowe's to honor the contract. They ordered the wrong color and wrong framing for the screen door, and have had to do remeasurements. The main issue is that the screen door framing doesn't fit neatly with the already installed glass door, and they may need to uninstall the glass door to get the framing in. We are considering small claims court.
