I am considering window replacements and debating between vinyl and fiberglass windows. My house has many windows on the south side that get a lot of Texas sun, and I am in a hot, humid 2-A climate, so I am concerned about vinyl warping due to the heat. I was under the impression that the replacement windows would replace the whole old aluminum frames. I plan to stay in the house for a long time, but I'm not sure about 25+ years.
