Is $2,000 to replace two garage windows a fair price?

I am trying to get as prepared as possible to replace the two windows in my garage. They are very old and nothing like I have seen on YouTube. I am looking for advice on what else I should be prepared for, such as flange vs. non-flange windows, sill information, and window recommendations. I understand the $2000 quote is probably the going rate, but I figured the garage would be a good DIY project since my wife won't see them every day and give me a hard time if they're not perfect.
