Is $10,000 to prep three showers for tiling a fair price?

I was quoted $10,000 for prepping three showers for tiling. The demolition is already done. I'm asking if this price is reasonable. I'm also concerned about liability as no warranty was expressed in the quote. It has been hard to even get this quote.
