Is $18,000 to convert shower to bathtub on 3rd floor a fair price?
Project Details
I want to convert my current walk-in shower to a bathtub because I prefer baths for heavy exercise day recovery. The bathroom is on the 3rd floor of my 4-story condo. My current setup is a tiled walk-in shower with dimensions 46” width, 58-59” length, and 118” height. I'm looking for an acrylic alcove tub. I'm guessing the 3rd-floor location might add a premium for structural soundness. I was floored by the price of the first quote I received.
