build a 10x10 deck 10' off the ground

Is $5,400 to build a 10x10 deck 10' off the ground a fair price?

Project Details

I want a 10x10 deck built off the bedroom of my house, 10 feet off the ground above the driveway. An existing ledger was lag bolted onto the house when the siding was done and flashed, but it was undersized. I'm getting a second opinion on this quote, which I feel is very fair. The deck will be at the back of the house, somewhat hidden from daily traffic. The person who quoted is a carpenter from my job site looking for side work, and his previous projects look good.
