Is $17,000 to re-do terrazzo flooring in a 9-yard by 3-yard area a fair price?

Project Details

I bought an old building built in the 1890s that had a vacuum shop in it. Under two layers of carpet and padding, I found some gorgeous terrazzo flooring. I took out the front wall that was angled and installed garage doors. Last year, moisture got under the flooring that was now outside, and it is breaking into a million pieces and looks awful. I am at a loss of what to do with this area and am looking for ideas and suggestions. I am also looking for suggestions on taking care of the terrazzo inside that looks dingy after all the foot traffic.
