Is $11,000 to bleach and refinish red oak floors a fair price?

I already know everyone is going to tell me to stay away from whitening my red oak floors. It’s a decision I’ve been sleeping on for over a month now and my final decision is that I want them as light/white as possible. The issue is I’ve spoken to 4 other flooring specialists and they all said they aren’t sure how to get it much lighter. The guy that quoted me this price is the only one that didn’t have an issue with my request. We’ve tried the bona red out with some other stuff and it just doesn’t work on our floors, which is why we had to result to bleach. The guy who quoted us tried like 6 other ways with different products, but they didn’t work unfortunately. Maybe because we have refurbished red oak with lots of dark pieces mixed in. A few friends said this guy is overcharging me a lot.
