My friend recently installed luxury vinyl flooring, and while I liked the look, it felt cold and hard. My lower level, which is about 850 sq ft, can be cold and damp. I am currently replacing carpet due to allergy reasons and am trying to decide between luxury vinyl and manufactured hardwood.
