I’m trying to build an ADU as a builder owner, and I will be contracting out the majority of the build. I am currently looking for quotes on the foundation. I am trying to figure out the correct thickness of the foundation slab based on the plans. I used ChatGPT to interpret the PDF plans, and it indicated the slab should be 6 inches thick, with 8 inches in certain areas, but I couldn't confirm this myself. I plan to call Fresno County on Monday for clarification on the plans they provided.
