Is $1,450 to install an exterior door separating the basement from the bulkhead stairs a fair price?

Project Details

I am putting a bulkhead into my home in the New England area (urban suburban, not CT or Boston). I already have a quote for the excavation and foundation work, but I am looking specifically at the cost to add the interior-to-exterior door.
