I am a first time home buyer in a fairly expensive town in Connecticut. The house is a colonial with a finished basement and 3 zones. I am replacing the original 1997 HVAC system proactively due to age and reliability concerns. I negotiated to include a 5-year labor warranty and 2-year maintenance agreement.
