Is $7,700 to replace an HVAC system with a 14 SEER2 Rheem unit a fair price?

I am having to replace my system now that my 20-year-old Rheem has a failing outdoor fan, squealing compressor, and clogged indoor coil. I got an estimate from my regular guys who have been treating me really well so far, but I have zero context for a good offer versus a scam. I am in the expensive part of Arkansas, so theoretically LCOL but really more like MCOL. Lots of new construction these days. I am working on additional quotes, but other recommended contractors in the area aren’t offering Rheem but Champion.
