I just bought this house, and after two months, the 2019 Goodman A/C unit’s evaporator coil is leaking. I received a quote for $2000 to replace the coil, and this quote for a new Rheem unit for $6650. I also spoke with another company that uses Champion A/C units and quoted a similar price. I'm trying to determine if this Rheem quote is a good price and whether Rheem or Champion units offer better longevity and energy efficiency.
