Is $2,500 to replace a Trane XR16 condenser a fair price?

I have a Trane XR16 Side-Discharge A/C unit that was installed in 2017 and has been maintained twice a year by the installer. During a recent summer tune-up visit, I was told that the condenser appears to be failing and should be replaced under warranty, with a cost of $2,500 for labor and refrigerant. However, I called another authorized Trane dealer in the area, and after a checkup visit, they said everything is fine. I'm hoping someone can help me determine if the numbers from the tech's gauge indicate a good or failing compressor, given an outdoor temperature of about 85 degrees and an indoor temperature of 76 degrees.
